Bel Air Corvette ClubThe BACC meets at 7:30 pm on the second Monday of each month. Currently, the club meetings are held at the McFaul Activities Center at 525 West MacPhail Road (behind the Motor Vehicle Administration) in Bel Air. Meetings last approximately one hour. many members come as early as 7:00 p.m. to socialize with their fellow members. The BACC Board of Directors meets at 7:00 pm on the first Monday of each month. The committees of BACC meet on an as-needed basis. Board of Directors
President - Don ChaneyDon Chaney and his wife Linda have been members of the Bel Air Corvette Club (BACC) for about 10 years. After college in the early 1970’s, Don purchased his first Corvette, a '68 small block convertible followed by a '66 coupe. When he joined the BACC around 2001, he had just purchased a C4 convertible. Don currently drives a C5 convertible and likes to leave the top down. Don has sponsored several long weekend trips to Williamsburg and the Skyline Drive, has made the cover of Blue Bars magazine leading a long line of Corvettes on the Skyline Drive of Virginia, and has served as the BACC Activities Chairman. Don likes meeting other Corvette enthusiasts, supporting the BACC events, and attending any Corvette event especially when fun activities and food are involved. Don is retired after spending the past 24 years as an Information Technology manager in both private and government sectors. Vice-President - Bob LembachBob joined the club in 2002 after he purchased a torch red 1999 convertible. Bob enjoys eat-n-rides, car shows and car related trips. Bob and his wife Wendy have two children and two grandchildren. Secretary - Clip HeathClip and Judy joined BACC in 2002 not long after Clip bought his first Corvette, a 1990 Bright Red, yes red, coupe. Clip left BACC for short time and joined Chesapeake Corvette Club. Clip and Judy returned to BACC in 2005 and are staying. Clip’s 2nd Corvette a 1999 Torch Red Coupe came in 2006 just before retiring after 32 ½ years with the Baltimore County Fire Department. The third Vette came in 2007 when a great deal on a 2003 Spiral Gray Coupe came along and Clip jumped on it. Treasurer - Blaine PlummerBlaine Plummer has lived in Harford county his entire life. Blaine is married to Kathy Carrick Plummer and they have 2 daughters. In 1999 purchased a 1992, White convertible from a BACC member and joined the club the same year. Blaine is retired and enjoys horse farming. Activities Chair - Milt KulczynskiMilt joined BACC along with his wife Debbie in 2001. Their third and present Corvette is a 2002 Electron Blue convertible. Milt and Debbie live in Perry Hall. Milt has owned and operated Probate Appraising Services for 27 years. Debbie and Milt love concerts and their favorite club activities are the Eat and Rides, judged shows, conventions and parades. Sergeant-At-Arms - Bill EtzelGovernor - Steve JohnsonSteve's first Corvette was a 1987 coupe and has since migrated to a 1994 Blackrose coupe. Steve joined Corvette Annapolis in 1999 and was governor of that club in 2006 and 2007. Steve and Judi joined BACC in 2008 and Steve became the BACC Membership Chair in 2009. Steve not only likes the social events - both by BACC and other NCCC clubs, but also the judged concours. Steve has been teaching History and Government since 1980 starting in a small, rural school in southern Georgia. He now teaches in Anne Arundel County. His wife, Judi, is a paralegal and works in New Jersey. They have six children and three grandsons. Steve is also the East Region Regional Membership Director! Membership Chair - Jodee EberlingJodee Eberling and her husband Jim joined BACC in 2003 after purchasing their first corvette which was a white 1976 Stingray. The ’76 was originally going to be a project car but due to starting a new family the car was put aside temporarily. After a short hiatus from the club Jodee eventually talked her father-in-law into selling his 1996 Collector’s Edition. When Jodee is not spending time with her son she enjoys going for long rides on the back of Jim's Harley and telling him what she wants done to the car next! She enjoys supporting BACC events such as OC Corvette weekend and attending local car shows. Jodee is also a huge Ravens fan and she is currently raising the green flag for M&T bank. This is Jodee’s rookie year on the board and she is looking forward to a GREAT year |
