| The Bel Air Corvette Club (BACC), Inc. was founded on January 10, 1974. The Club is comprised of individuals; both male and female, young and old, that have a common interest... THE CHEVROLET CORVETTE. The BACC was formed to further the mutual enjoyment of the Corvette Sports Car. Through the BACC, technical and practical information for Corvette owners and enthusiasts are gained. Events are conducted for showing your Corvette and for demonstrating your driving skill, as well as the performance of your Corvette. Some examples of the BACC-related activities are:
FunctionsIn addition to the car-related activities, the BACC provides the opportunity for social functions among the members and their families. Some examples of these activities are - dances, picnics, Lantern Queen Paddle Boat Cruise and Dinner, Fall Bonfire Party and Super Bowl Party and club trips to various locations such as Carlisle, PA, Corvette Weekend in Ocean City, and Stoudt's all Corvette show in Pennsylvania. Three of our biggest and most successful activities sponsored by BACC are the Annual Picnic and Crab Feast, the December Holiday Party and the Super Bowl Party. MeetingsThe BACC meets at 8:00 PM on the second Monday of each month. Currently, the club meetings are held at the McFaul Activities Center at 525 West MacPhail Road (behind the Motor Vehicle Administration) in Bel Air. Meetings last approximately one hour. many members come as early as 7:00 Pm to social with their fellow members. The BACC Board of Directors meets at 6:30 on the first Monday of each month. The committees of BACC meet on an as-needed basis. MembershipThe necessary requirements to join BACC are as follows. you must own a Corvette. You must attend a combination of two club meetings and two club events. you must be at least 18 years old. Club dues include your membership in the National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC). BACC has been affiliated with NCCC since 1976. Ask us about our Spousal/Companion memberships. Charitable ActivitiesOur club has grown rapidly over the past years. We believe that our reputation for support of various charitable organizations has been important to our growth and success. Over the years, we have contributed to the National Kidney Foundation, Spinda Bifida, Boy's and Girl's Clubs of Harford County, S.M.I.L.E.S, and SARC.
